In the Liniers neighborhood on the outskirts of Buenos Aires, profound inertia engulfs a middle-class family: the father fills his time with mindless television programs while the mother chatters away to fill the void caused by her husband's deafening silence. A strict Catholic school environment provides the backdrop for the siblings' burgeoning sexuality, with brother Santiago in a mostly platonic friendship with a fellow female student, and sister María fending off transphobic attacks from vicious classmates. At night, MarÍa pursues a clandestine affair with an accepting young man who goes by the name of Peter Pan. While alone at home, Santiago discovers Peter Pan trying to enter María's room, setting off his own erotically charged obsession with the mysterious intruder. However, Peter Pan's seduction doesn't end with the siblings, his dark intentions hinted at by a shadowy apparition that has entered the family's home.
