Bees (2002)
Documentary, Short • 0h 6m
Something is going on in the fragrant spring garden. An incessant buzzing noise catches the attention of the indefatigable American filmmaker, David Lynch, who, without delay, starts filming one of the most extraordinary defensive moves in nature: the mighty bee ball. Forming an impenetrable cluster of thick exoskeletons, the busy and ingenious bees vibrate the powerful muscles in their wings to generate heat, directing it toward the centre of the ball. But, what is cooking inside?
