Ko Tae-Yong, a 9-year-old boy who just wants to find out who his father is, sets out on a journey to China, all on his own. Leaving only a small note containing 'Mom, I will be back with Dad!'. Ko Mi-Yeon a successful documentary producer and single mom comes home to find exactly that note in her sons' bedroom. Now on her way to find him, she flies to China. Unbeknownst to her has Tae-Yong already met his dad, who whilst fighting with his own problems just kicked the small boy out in the night. Zhou Li-Yan is an unknown artist who is just about to open his gallery, when he is involved in a big scandal jeopardizing his whole career, when he met the small Korean boy, who seems to be confusingly affectionate and lost.
