In 2015, Grandma Tamayo and her family, a immigrant family on Yaeyama Islands of Okinawa, go back to Taiwan, where they lived before the WWII. These Taiwanese have been swinging in different countries and regimes for sixty years and are now living in Japanese society. It's a tale of the forgotten people in the history of East Asia.
