If you like characters whose names begin with 'M' you would love this film. Literary editor Mamoru Miyamoto and author Masao Muraoka are friends. Masao Muraoka's last novel, Aki No Riyuu, was written a while ago as he has physiological and psychological problems. Communication is conducted through writing and the men stay close, ostensibly because the editor wants the writer's next work, but also because Masao's wife Misaki appeals to the editor. Miku, on the other hand, is a fan of the aforementioned novel and relates to Masao's work in another way.
