Aki transferred from Tokyo to a school on a rural island. Tamako was born and raised on the island. Now, they attend the same middle school. Aki was a member of the soft tennis club back in Tokyo, but an incident caused her to leave behind her mother and older sister and move in with her father Masaya on the island. Tamako asks Aki to teach her soft tennis. This inspires Akito pick up her racket once again. Unfortunately, the area doesn't have a tennis court. Aki and Tamako try to make a court on the campus of a shutdown school.
