Arthème proméne son oncle (1913)
23 Sep 1913 • Short, Comedy • 0h 5m
Ernest Servaès takes his uncle on a little walk; the poor old man is so weak he is in a reclining, three-wheeled chair of some sort that must be pushed along. Thing go well enough until Servaès spots a pretty girl and takes off after her, leaving his crippled uncle to fend for himself. It's a very amusing entry in the long-running series directed by and starring M Servaès. There are a couple of nice little gags, and one involves a film poster: as the comic and the lady go into a movie theater, you can see that an Arthème picture is playing. It's not a movie for everyone, but if you wish to see if it is for you, it has just been posted to the Eye Institute site on YouTube.
