No Free Lunch is a short drama portraying a young woman on the morning of a job interview for a position that is way out of her league. Underprivileged and still living with her mother, Sarai Golden (25) is desperate to find a way up and out. She uses her skill as a proficient liar to help her get her foot in the door but her charisma, intelligence and conviction are what will help get her what she needs - a chance to change her fate. An ambitious woman with a knack for autodidacticism, Sarai has the audacity to use morally questionable tactics to attain her ultimate goal of upward mobility - the question is, how far is she willing to go and how many toes is she willing to step on to get there.
