Fifteen years ago, a Syro-Malabar Catholic priest from South Indian state of Kerala, Raphael Kurian, arrived in modern and secular Sweden as a missionary. Today, he is more popular than ever, and with a warm heart and curious mind always available for those in need. Then, as Raphael is making future plans for his Swedish parish, he is suddenly called back to India for a sabbatical in order to recharge his spirituality. The unexpected news makes Raphael seriously concerned about the parish, in addition to the uncertainty where he will be placed next as he now considers Sweden his home.
