Laurel Chimera, an early thirties white collar worker, is passive and reserved in her own life. She is distant from her best friend at work and has a less than close relationship with her writer husband, Gary, at home. After she discovers a new young employee, Jim Harris, he becomes incorporated into her new recurring nightmare. As she investigates who Jim is, the line between nightmare and reality is crossed.
