This film looks at the lives of three different people in the LGBT community in Thailand."It Gets Better" is shot beautifully; everything from cinematography, sets, locations, costumes are of very high standards. The story is in three segments. The first is about a young man coming back to Thailand from the USA to inherit his father's gay bar. The second is about a young boy who is caught dressing in women's clothes, and he gets sent to a Buddhist temple for repentance. The third is about a woman who goes to a remote village, but is mistaken for a thief. These stories are all very touching and engaging. It brings to the surface the desires and needs of people, being they physical or emotional. The ending is excellent, as there is an unexpected turn that makes viewers appraise the story in a whole new perspective. I was truly moved and astounded by "It Gets Better". It surpassed every expectation I had. If you have a chance to watch it, please do watch it. It deserves to be seen and appreciated.
