Embargo is a feature Documentary film which delves into the secret relationship between the United States and Cuba. It is the story of an American woman who travels to Cuba with a U.S. Senator and discovers the untold history of her generation. The film follows her journey as she uncovers the truth from American, Russian and Cuban leaders. Embargo is a landmark exploration of American foreign policy in Latin America. It is also a catalyst to lift the restrictions of the Embargo, not only for the Cuban people, but for the rights of Americans to travel freely. It stars Robert F. Kennedy Jr, Sergei Khrushchev, Ted Sorensen, Frank Mankowiecz, Peter Kornbluh,(National Security Archives) President Ricardo Alarcon ( Cuban National Assembly) and many Cubans and Cuban Americans.
