Through exorcism, Columbia University Jewish students seek to remove the evil spirit which possessed federal judge Julius Hoffman, trial judge of of the notorious "Chicago Eight" conspiracy case. The exorcism ceremony on the steps of the Federal Court at Foley Square in New York is intercut with excerpts of speeches of the Chicago Eight and their lawyers.
