At Dong Rae train station, time passes slowly and the pace of arrivals and departures is best described as sluggish. Soo Dong, who guards the pedestrian crossing, has an uneventful life of monotony. However, the arrival of atypical passengers at the station - Miss Jin, a homeless middle-aged woman, her little girl ("Miss Piggy") and Dong Jin, a talkative alcoholic - injects some entertainment into the otherwise boring life of Soo Dong. He manages to fit into the little world occupied by Miss Jin, the little orphan girl and Dong Jin, even though their relationships are unconventional for the society they inhabit.
