Linar (2013)
01 Apr 2013 • Documentary, Drama • 1h 22m
Little Linar's heart is failing. Now his life depends on the transplantation possible only abroad. The film tells about the doctors and caregivers who fight for the boy's life at the same time making up for the absence of the mother who is far away. It took the authors five years to shoot the film. They were with Linar when he was in Russia attached to a machine, a substitute for his heart. They followed him to Italy where the youngster went through a complicated transplant operation and stayed with him during the long rehabilitation. This emotional drama holds the viewer spell-bound while speaking in a subtle metaphoric language. It fires imagination and plunges you into the world of sophisticated creative cinema.
