In Regreso a Viridiana (Return to Viridiana) French teacher, Monique Roumette, relives the time she spent during the shooting of Viridiana, the legendary film that Luis Buñuel made on his return to Spain in 1961 after having spent decades in exile. Monique Roumette was a grant student fortunate enough to be able to spend her work placement on the film's location. She wrote a project in which she described the way Buñuel worked and her general impressions about the shooting. Fifty years on Monique Roumette returns to Madrid and to the same places where as a young woman she lived one of the experiences that was to mark the rest of her life.
