This documentary illustrates the life of John Muir, the father of the Sierra Club and the first American preservationist. The film includes beautiful scenery and was shot at many locations including Wisconsin (where Muir grew up), Florida, Yosemite, Alaska, etc. This interesting and well done PBS documentary includes interviews with historians, archival photographs and spectacular recreations of hikes.
