This film presents youth with the notion of what encompasses a large part of an adult's life - work - and what career those youth may want embark upon when they grow up. People generally work to earn a living to purchase goods and services, some which are necessities such as food, shelter, clothing and health care, and some which are luxuries. Hopefully, the work that people do they find enjoyable, satisfying and a useful contribution to society. Because so many different goods and services contribute to society's needs and wants, there are many different careers from which to choose. Any work requires a special skill set, sometimes which can be acquired through practice such as on the job training, and sometimes which requires previous knowledge such as can be acquired through schooling. A career cluster, such as "health care", is comprised of a multitude of different careers, such as doctor, nurse, dentist and pharmacist, which are usually interrelated in advancing that career cluster field.
