Hediye is a mentally handicapped who lost her parents at a young age, is abandoned by her grandmother Aliye to an orphanage in Istanbul. When Hediye, whose mental disability does not prevent her from being a young girl full of love and joy, comes of age, the orphanage director calls her and informs her that she has a relative in Istanbul. If she wishes, she will be able to go to Izmir where her grandmother Aliye lives, on the condition of accompanying with her relative Faruk. The orphanage director also gives Hediye a companion document issued in the name of Faruk, along with the money she has accumulated until that day. Faruk, on the other hand, is in a very difficult period of his life in those days. He went bankrupt as a result of his suffering business, was dumped by his girlfriend, and even the belongings in his house were confiscated on the same day. On top of that, his cafe burns down as a result of negligence. Desperate and broke, Faruk does not even take, Hediye, whom he sees her for the first time in his life, and her desire to go to Izmir, seriously. The only trip he can make at the moment will be to Bursa to take shelter in the house of his mother, Saibe. Faruk takes his employee and only friend, Vakkas, with him, and sets out with his antique car, which is inherited from his father. However, Hediye is not a random girl of giving up so quickly. It will not be long before Faruk and Vakkas are aware of the existence of Hediye sneaked in the trunk of the car. Whatever happens, happens they continue all together heading to Bursa. When they arrive Saibe's house Faruk meets his childhood sweetheart Zeynep and they reminisce happy days in the past. In Bursa, the hometown of his father, who passed away years ago, Faruk decides to start a new life for himself by confronting all his mistakes and omissions. First of all, Faruk helps his relative, the mentally handicapped Hediye, and takes her to Izmir, to his grandmother Aliye, whom he will see her for the first time in years. However, Aliye does not welcome them as they hoped.
