The film captures the difficulties faced by a group of people living in the inner-Melbourne industrialsuburb of Brunswick in the 1970's (these days a groovy bolt hole for artists, musicians etc). As locals, we still see one of the three main protagonists often sitting on a park bench. Although this minor masterpiece is set in Melbourne Australia, it applies equally to any city or town anywhere in the world. Often mentally challenged people are pretty much hidden from view, they deserve to be heard and appreciated. This little film does just that.
