I'm reviewing this to bring down the absurd 7.0 rating. This is a poor example of a martial arts movie from the golden age of martial arts movies. I am currently on a mission to watch every one from 1967 to 1984. Some days I am pleased to enjoy movies I never knew existed. Today was not one of those days. The movie started in a hole to begin with. The best copy I could find was a 4th generation or so VHS copy in 4:3 screen format with washed out solid white subtitles cut of on both edges and the VHS was off track often. It was hard on the eyes to say the least but I'm used to that. The story itself made an effort for drama but it failed totally with the fights. I found no action director or fight choreographer credited and that might explain everything. The fights were examples of how to do everything wrong. The sequences were one or two moves filmed too close. Unexpected trampoline shots were inserted randomly. It was painful to watch.
