Polidor goes looking for lost kittens and brings home some lion cubs. He doesn't notice the difference until his employer points it out three months later, after they have eaten all the parlor furniture.This seems to have been a common problem in the era, as lions turned up everyplace in silent comedy and they were often mistaken for something else, including house cats, poodles and in one Lloyd Hamilton short, rabbits. This is a good variation on the theme, although to the modern viewer, the acting will seem very archaic, pre-modern stage acting, even though by this time the comparatively subtle pantomime of silent film had replaced stage acting.... everyplace, it seems, but Italian and French short comedies.
