Harlem, New York City. Donny B has an expensive intravenous drug habit which he cannot afford. To support that habit, he has to rely on stealing, cheating and lying. As the viewer watches Donny B on his daily routine to get that next fix, those that know him and know people like him provide commentary on this destructive life, that destructiveness both to the drug user himself and to those who are affected by his dealings. Those providing commentary include friends, acquaintances, people in authority and his victims, unwitting or somewhat complicit.
