Chia Ling is smiling and walking and borrowing the stick toss from Japanese movies to determine her direction at an intersection - but adds a twist. That sets the tone for the entire movie. This is an excellent comedic spoof of all martial arts movies up until 1975.I first viewed this movie back in 2015 and had a poor copy. There are many different poor copies of this movie out there. I thought I had a good wide screen version but it had no subtitles and the colors were washed out. My square picture VHS with hard subtitles of Chinese and English had bad translations. Ultimately that was actually the best version as the picture was sharp despite the cropping. Though the translation was poor, in this movie you can guess what they are saying 75% of the time anyway. The fight choreography is excellent. Except for the end fight all the fights are comedic. Typical bad guys were cast and they did a great job with the comedy. Fans of the genre who have already seen hundreds of these movies will appreciate the details even more.
