Rhuveneko, 19, rides on a bus and opens a picture book, gazing at old pictures of her father. She goes back to his village to claim her inheritance, but things have changed. Zimbabwe became independent in 1980. A fierce liberation war had brought the long-awaited freedom, but the scars of this war are still felt until today. And the spoils of the war were only going to be shared with a few.
