To Bina Bhala Lagena (2008)
05 Sep 2008 • Action, Drama, Musical
The Movie starts with the 1st encounter happening between Deepak(Sabyasachi) and Jyoti(Rupali). The scene has been narrated in a very genuine way. The romance that eventually blossoms between the two characters Deepak and Jyoti with the violin sessions and Deepak coming up for Jyoti s safeguard have been handled very delicately in the film. The scenes looks very romantic and yet very classy. The Introduction scene of Pupinder justifies his colorful character of "Suraj" portrayed in the film. The fast half of the Movie is almost flawless with proper pace and the movie continues almost with a single flow without much constraints but however post Interval the Movie becomes almost predictable and it seems like an Old Wine in a New Bottle.Sometimes the pace of the movie tends to get slower specially after when Deepak becomes aware of his Friend s Love interest and attempts to make his love to get sacrificed for his friend Suraj s happiness. The pace of the Movie again gains its momentum after Jyoti becomes aware of the identity of her true Love in the form of Deepak but any how the the film looses its consistency in its pace.Acting wise Sabyasachi has properly justified his character well, Rupali is surprisingly very good in the movie, Pupinder has done a good job in his debut film but however he needs to groom himself, George Tiadi and Anita Das are as usual good in their respective roles, Mihir Das has been wasted completely in an inappropriate role, Minaketan has justified the character of a drunkard Uncle of Jyoti, Saheb Singh is loud. The screenplay and the costumes of each character has been very proper.Actress Rupali in the role of a simple village girl has been styled well and she has been given shuttle colors in her costumes that justifies the simplicity of the character well, Sabyasachi has also been styled well and properly according to the characterization. The film has been made with an effort to project a pure Love story to the audience,so unnecessary comedy scenes have not been implemented into it.The screenplay of the movie is good and has been properly justified. The Music of the Movie is decent with the title song stands out of the rest. Director Jyoti Das has however done a splendid job in his debut film. Not so bad, worth watching
