Raúl and Alba are a Spanish young couple which love for trekking and hiking motivated them to travel around the world to walk along four of the most known trails. A journey not only to know the trails but meeting another hikers in their way, whose talk to camera to explain the importance that the trail had for them and their reasons to do it. Starting in the Pacific Crest Trail (USA), to continue in the Camino Inca (Peru), Kumano Kodo (Japan) and finally the French Way of the Camino de Santiago (Spain), ending not in the own Cathedral of Santiago but Finisterre (the place where it was believed that the world ended before Christopher Columbus' discovery of America), The Great Way is a mixture between the human need to meet new places, people and sensations, the legend and myth that surround about some trails, and the beauty of a planet full of wonders for those that want see them by their own feet. A touching experience for finding outer and inner worlds.
