The film tells about the abduction of the Oko (who went in search of tobacco for pipes, having forgotten his weapons at the fire) and other Cossacks by the Crimean Tatars. Gray and Tour enter the enemy's citadel with adventures, find those abducted in Zindane (by a familiar song sung by the never-disheartening Oko), free friends and return home, grabbing tobacco bales at the same time. At the end, the plot returns to the title: the trinity and other saved people gather around the cauldron, in which the kulesh is still being cooked.
