The treacherous Sher Khan raises confusion in the wolf pack, questioning Akela's leadership. At about the same time, thanks to the help of the wise python Kaa, Mowgli finds the knife he needs to take his rightful place in his pack. Bagheera and Balu, having decided for the first time no longer to fear Sher Khan, wanted to protect Akela. Only the intervention of Mowgli saved Akela from Sher Khan's cunning.
