Dark and twisted, An Eye For An Eye takes the viewer on a crazy journey using voyeurism and abuse to put you on the edge of your seat for most of its running time, just dipping its toe into Category 3 territory without getting its foot wet. Using some intense drama and an unnerving score, this Hong Kong thriller from director Yuen Shu Wai shows some great performances from its cast, most notably Angie Cheung (Body Weapon) and the late, great Blacky Ko Sau Leung.Oddly enough, the film was produced by legendary kung fu queen Yeung Pan Pan, but don't expect any kung fu action here. Similar to the 1996 slasher flick, The Peeping Tom, this thriller has the rapist use a camcorder to enhance his perverted experiences. It does dip in the middle a little as the great Angie Cheung works her way up to seducing George, and while nothing overly exciting really comes about until the last 20 minutes, An Eye For An Eye entertains enough to warrant at least one viewing!Overall: It's no Naked Killer and low on production value, but An Eye For An Eye is a decent thriller with good results, some great acting and nice twist...
