Freshly discharged from the army, the witty philosopher, Stefanos Tzoutzes, finds out the hard way that the world doesn't revolve around him. As a result, with his late mother's debts and the household bills piling up, jobless and impecunious Stefanos will soon have no other choice but to reluctantly take part in the seemingly foolproof robbery plan of his nefarious high-school classmate, Nikos.
