Skizo (2006)
08 Sep 2006 • Thriller
There's more than a few reasons to love 'Skizo'; the main reason would be that the film single-handedly resurrected the B-movie spirit genre. It's not usual in the Spanish films this kind of movie. Jaenada's plays a role surprise after his Academiy winner biopic's "Camaron", but this is really excellent. The plot of 'Skizo' is very simple: A trunked plain... but the (italian expression defines better) "mise en scene" is a risk not usual taking classics samples and opting for the heart but not for the heart-attack. An exercise of love to the classical movies for the latest hand-made films of the 50's. A really strange film into the actual Spanish cinema. Director's Jesus Ponce makes a second film one of most undefinable but interesting start of the latest Spanish movies own history.
