Ana Elisa lives in a popular neighborhood where life and death move in an intense dynamic. She feels strong for being the owner of a healing talent and for being knowledgeable of popular psychology, which gives her a privileged place in her community. Calvo, her old boyfriend, the boss of the neighborhood thieves, in an act of daily violence insults Ana Elisa. She, full of courage, tired of always acting in fear and always forced to be silent, decides to confront him. But with such bad results that her grandmother and brother lose their lives and Ana Elisa is left with the responsibility of taking care of her older brother (schizophrenic and with tendencies to the vices of the street). Forced to leave the city, she travels to Bogotá in search of distant relatives that she has not seen for a long time, hoping that they will help her at this very difficult time for her. But on the contrary, there begins a survival race for Ana, where she must protect her brother. Ana finds solidarity and support in a stranger, Julián, who ends up just as beaten for helping her, but still accompanies her to the end in that battle for the dignity of power simply: Being.
