This is an actuality film of salmon fishing in British Columbia. Shown are film spawning at hatcheries, jumping up in the falls, the salmon fleet fishing with traps and nets at the mouth of the Fraser River, barges loaded with fish and arrival at the cannery. A sequence shot in Victoria British Columbia shows a long boat canoe race with crews of eleven aboriginal paddlers. Part of a series of 13 films made for the Canadian Pacific Railway by the Edison Manufacturing Company in the summer of 1910.
