The director Mehmet Alemdar is a ''Yesilcam'' veteran. Starting in 1970, Alemdar has produced quite a number of films with his company Alemdar Film. Being Semih Evin's assistant in 1972, in later years he worked with Cetin Inanc. This collaboration shines through this film, as it does in many others. The plot: Sirma (Sehnaz Dilan), is young and beautiful woman who has been raped by a pervert. Together with her husband, Sinan (Cemal Gencer), they move to a new place, to erase the bad memories of this incident. However Sirma can not overcome the shock of the incident. As she keeps having hallucinations and nightmares, Sinan, initially being very involved with his wife's troubles, mysteriously begins to move away from her.Meanwhile, the daughter of a rich family escapes home and goes on a trip with her friends. The worried parents alert the newspapers, thinking it's a kidnapping. The lost girl's and Sinan's ways meet. In the meantime, Meric Erkan, who was a prominent figure of the early morning TV shows, shows up with his red jacket and gets involved with Sirma. The film mainly centers around these 4 figures. You can label the film as Trash with a clear conscience. Yet, considering the lack of horror and thriller films in Turkish cinema, it does deserve a certain level admiration. The film is easily more watchable than many of the contemporary Turkish cinema, despite its plot holes and some irrelevant dialog. And also information about Alemdar's same year production Kader Diyelim (1995), which is heavily influenced by Hitchcock's Psycho..
