Many thrilling adventures of the wild west cling about the daring doings of the Pony Express riders, who cover the territory between the east and the west on horseback. One of these daring riders, exhausted after a long ride, is doped by a dose of morphine and robbed. A jury at trial convicts him of robbery and he is sentenced to serve time. His friends enable him to escape, having a number of faithful horses at command. During this wild flight for freedom, he encounters the real criminal and runs him down.
