This is one of many films in a sub-par collection of animated shorts entitled "Avoid Eye Contact: Volume One". This short cartoon is very difficult to describe. The style and plot are sublime--way beyond my ability to adequately express. There is a lot of metaphor and unusual combination of images, numbers and shapes in this simple story of a father trying to get little Stevie to go to bed. However, the whole thing is so unusual and creative that lovers of cutting edge animation will enjoy it--though the average person out there probably will not.By the way, the director is the voice and I assume the kid is his own, as both have the same last name (Griffin).
