The movie faced the society for the first time with some problems that the "Marriage and divorce law" contains, which needed to be looked over again. The movie was direct cause of changing some subject in the "Family Law" and continues to be an icon for more movies discussing same problem. Faten won the best actress award from Cairo Festival, and a diploma of recognition from Tehran festival.
