There are a lot of bad movies every year. Movies truly bad like "Bewitched", "Taxi", "Anacondas", and classics like Ed Wood's or Roger Corman's movies or "Manos" itself. But all these titles are movies without pretentious, without more intentions of make enjoy a good time to the audience, and some of these are sincerely nice because are so bad that it is good. But the movie I'm talking about, "Los nombres de Alicia", is not bad. It's worst. 'Cause it tries to convince us that it has talent, that is cinematographic good. Too much pretentious for a too poor talent. Maybe the worst soundtrack, pretty sure the worst script, totally sure the worst direction of the year. Unsence story, unsence dialogues, ridiculous acting direction (maybe they are nice, but in this movies are like amateurs), unsence shots. But... what the hell is this? It's impossible to resume it. Impossible to find a synopsis. Impossible to understand the reason because of a production company was interested on it. Unsence that a public TV station like TV3 spends public money in "movies" like this, and, sure, cancelling a lot of good scripts that will wait forever its chance. At this point... Has the director ever seen a movie before shooting "Los nombres de Alicia"? I suppose that a lot of you think that my English is bad. I'm sure it is, but and sure that everybody will understand one thing: "Los nombres de Alicia", 0 out of 10.
