Butter Balls (2003)* (out of 4)Typically I start off my reviews with a description of the plot but that will not be happening here. It's not that I don't want to tell you what this film is about but I honestly have no clue as to what the plot is.This twenty-five minute film comes from cult filmmaker George Kuchar and like a lot of his movies they probably only make sense in his mind. I'm sure Kuchar could perfectly explain every frame of this movie but to the viewer it's not going to make much sense just by watching it. We basically see a man fall in love and then something goes wrong. At one point there's a bizarre dance sequence to an instrumental version of Can You Feel the Love Tonight, which is bizarre to say the least.Fans of Kuchar will probably enjoy the weirdness of this movie and I'm sure they can draw connections as to what it all means. I don't mind movies that make no sense as long as they keep me entertained but sadly this film did not.
