Although barely an hour long, this documentary-like film in the style of the Chilean movie "Sábado" was very interesting to watch. The main protagonist, a Danish guy named Kai, sets out to film a short film of some sort set in Santiago and while interviewing people on the street he meets María Paz who then becomes the main character in his film. While he is filming with his digital camera, a camera crew is following and filming him. There are some interesting shots of the city and it's people, and the whole thing has a very spontaneous, relaxed feel to it helped by Kai's not so good Spanish. The film plays with the genres of reality and documentary cinema in an approachable, non-pretentious way and lets you wonder what the movie is actually about until the end. Choice of music was also interesting, "Angry Chair" by Alice in Chains being the title song. Slow-paced at times but also funny, definitely one of the more original films to come out of Chile in recent years.
