Based on the early-20th century stories by famous writer Peyami Safa, Cingöz Recai tells the adventures of Recai, nicknamed Cingöz (meaning cunning, sly). He's a lovable thief, always evades the police in creative ways, and actually enjoys the chase. Although he's a criminal, a master of disguise and an expert at pulling elaborate capers, he also helps people in need. The stories are heavily influenced by Arsene Lupin stories by French author Maurice Leblanc.
