Holger is a Copenhagen postman who has never had much luck with the ladies. One day his neighbour, a doctor with a firm grasp of the female kind, makes Holger look after his goldfish while he is away. Before long, the sexy Linda arrives and mistakes Holger for his neighbour, but in spite of this newfound female attention, Holger is more interested in pursuing his own love story with local bakery owner Astrid.
