Bong-sam abandons his dying wife, Su-in, to live with a wealthy widow. He takes his young son to be raised by his new stepmother. Su-in dies, but her spirit remains to watch over her son who is now leading an unhappy life with the abusive widow. Unable to stand by passively, the ghost decides that she must take revenge
