Very well filmed, it focuses in no specific story, moving from an event to another in Northeastern Brazilian hinterland, in a filmmaking with almost no cut. It is much harsher than the also impacting feature remake from 11 years afterwards. Violence, death, departure... sad stories and no joy in that wasteland portrayed by Camilo Cavalcante. His remake is obviously inspired in this short film with the same name, but it shows, together with all the violence, more hope and affection. Watch it here:
