At a doctors' conference in Salt Lake City, one physician entertains his colleagues with a story about Andrew and Eric, two lovers whose sex life has gotten dull and mundane. The men hear about an urban legend featuring a gerbil, so down to the pet store they go. To the delight of the conferees, initial ecstasy turns to disaster in the ensuing tale.
