Antonio and Isabel are married singers who are national ranchera icons. Their relationship is distorted by their worries on each others work. New problems arise as Isabel's cousin Felipe comes to town and breaks their duo unintentionally by contracting Isabel to a Spaniard's theater group, and Antonio as a musical advertiser for an Italian woman's chocolate company. Separated and lonely, Antonio and Isabel get emotionally distant and start to long for each other. It's Felipe's fault and as he realizes the consequences, begins to plan ingenious ways to join the couple back together.
