Oh no! I wanted to write a plot summary of this movie but the other reviewer beat me to it by four days! I guess now I'll have to cut right to the chase. "Brush Up My Sisters" is basically a reverse Hong Kong version of "Police Academy", and the humor is not really of a much higher level. Also, it HAS been shot on video and that takes some getting used to. But it's still a likable movie, mostly thanks to the three female leads. Natalie Ng and Pinky Cheung are adorable, but Teresa Mak steals the show with her stunning beauty and focused intensity. However, if you're looking for lots of girls-with-guns action (and who could blame you after looking at the cover!), you'll be disappointed as there is very little of that. Footnote: the English subtitles are often illiterate and sometimes go by way too fast, but generally they can be followed. (**1/2)
