The Ten Commandments Number 3: Remember to Keep Holy the Sabbath Day (1995) ** 1/2 (out of 4) This third film in the series is a step up from the previous two. This time out we hear the story of a battle during 1939 where one soldier was given the power to see something that no one else could. I don't want to give too much away but lets just say that he gets abducted by a UFO and the real weird stuff begins. I've been going through several Phil Mulloy shorts lately and this one here was pretty interesting for a few reasons. For one, it added narration to help tell the story of everything that was going on. This here is something that I haven't seen the director use before and I thought he handled it well. I thought the narrators voice really did come across as one you'd hear on those history programs so it worked well. Another good thing the director did was add in some of the more perverted or adult natured jokes. The alien race feature their heads down where their penis should be but of course the nose on the face has a way of doing different things. This type of humor is something Mulloy is known for and it makes for some good jokes here. Overall the film isn't one of the best from the director but it's worth viewing by fans.
