though neither one is my favorite, and as a matter of fact, I do not see how could any of the two be any popular, but then again, no man can ever understand any women, well at least most men.The original novel was written by a female author, a divorced female author who actually started her writing careers as a way to escape her sorrow of divorce, just to do something to get the divorce and its after effect out of her mind. However, as it turned out, this result was unexpected popularity, or popularity among single women (Not surprised?), and the young girls (Definitely surprised, because they seemed to young to mingle about romance, concentrate on study first). Not surprisingly, reactions from male readers are not as enthusiastic as that of female, just like this movie.
